All the greatest fashion designers and fashion houses exhibit their collections at least twice a year, in order to present their creations. These haute couture fashion shows bring together the best of the fashion world: fashion designers, model makers, couturiers, models, specialized fashion and ready-to-wear press (Elle, Vogue, Biba,...). Every year, it is the battle over who will recruit the most beautiful models, which fashion designer will design the most beautiful evening dress and which model will stay with their designer or go elsewhere, succumbing to the sirens of money. A real fashion mercato! Presented on mannequins, the creations are very elegant even if sometimes we can doubt the daily use of certain outfits. The work of haute couture is not necessarily profitable. Indeed, haute couture pieces are sometimes worth more than 100,000 euros and only a few hundred people in the world can afford these rare pieces of haute couture collection. The objective for the big "fashion houses" is to be seen and to enhance their image. Fashion houses often also sell ready-to-wear, fashion accessories (handbags like Louis Vuitton) or perfumes (Chanel, Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani). Fashion Week, a well-known Anglicism among fashion lovers, also known as "fashion week" is an event lasting about a week, taking place twice a year (for each collection: Spring/Summer and Autumn Winter). It allows fashion designers and haute couture house designers to present their new ready-to-wear collections. Fashion Week exists in 4 European cities (London, Milan and Paris) and one American city (New York). The enigmatic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld is a must in the world of haute couture. Paris Fashion Week has existed since 1973 and is mainly devoted to haute couture, ready-to-wear and men's fashion.

It’s quite an interesting article. Just for reading, it would have been more pleasant if there had been paragraphs. Moreover I would have liked the analysis to be a little more in-depth. For example you could have taken an example of a fashion show and explain how such a fashion show is the reflection of haute couture.
